Catching Up with CorgiPals: Miracles and More!

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to my fifth weekly guest spot on The Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I'll be doing a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world. This week's theme: Miracles and More!

First, in light of all the sadness we've been experiencing in Corgi Nation recently, I thought you'd all like to hear an amazing happy ending story. Remember Kipper? In summer of 2011, she was surrendered to Middle Tennessee Corgi Rescue by a young man and his mother, who had found Kipper wandering around a construction site. CorgiPals helped pay for her heartworm treatment and she has since been in tip top shape. Recently, an ad was placed on Petfinder.com to help Kipper find her forever home. What she found was nothing short of a miracle. I am VERY excited to announce that Kipper is back with her people! She was apparently stolen from them 3 years ago in September and her family saw the ad on Petfinder. She instantly recognized her human mom, and now she is back where she should be. How amazing is that? Congratulations Kipper!!!

Second, I thought you'd like to see the current fundraising totals for our eleven Corgis in need:

As you can see, Richard and Roxie are VERY close to meeting their goals. Let's see if we can get them taken care of by the end of the weekend! Think we can do it? I KNOW we can!

Finally, an announcement pertaining to something I've been getting questions about A LOT lately. Introducing, the 2013 Corgi Lingo Calendar Contest!

2012 Cover Girl, Sadie
Please visit our contest page to view the full rules and details about this contest. All entries are due by next Saturday, October 20. Voting will run from October 21-27 and the winners will be announced on Sunday, October 28! To enter, email your photos to Paige at corgipals@gmail.com.

That's a wrap! Until next week, I leave you with this picture of Gimli, Mr. July from last year's Corgi Lingo Calendar!

I'm so happy Kipper is back with her family. I'm sure it was an emotional reunion between Kipper and her mom.

This is such an awesome story! Proof, indeed, that miracles do happen. Thanks so much for sharing it, as we have been through so much lately with "people" losing their precious pals to the "bridge."
